Mini Soccer at Uppingham has been running in Uppingham since 2007.
This group is for players aged 8 to 12 for players to really develop technique and tactical awareness in a supportive environment. Our football programme for girls and boys is suitable for the first experiences of the game as well as youngsters wishing to advance their skills. This is a real opportunity for youngsters to get involved in sport and to make new friends too. The sessions are led by John Mulholland, a fully qualified UEFA B coach and fully DBS checked, along with a team of great supporting coaches.
The programme is based on fun and enjoyment. Mini Soccer teaches the basic techniques of the game through fun games in a friendly and safe environment. The mini soccer course lasts for ten 1 hour sessions and costs 5.95 pounds The sessions are on Saturdays at Leighfield Primary school on the MUGA.
Requirements:
KIT NEEDED
Please bring layers, coat, hat and gloves
Our sessions take place outdoors on the MUGA at Leighfield
Players need the following Rain jacket, shin pads, dimpled Astro trainers or moulded studs.
Re-fillable water bottle, warm clothing, shorts, tracksuit bottoms, hat, gloves, jumper in winter.
