Coming up there will be a series of blogs outlining and discussing who our competitors are and what services they offer. We’re writing these blogs to demonstrate the ways in which we differ from our competitors, as well as to offer our customers the opportunity to discover if there are services that they may also benefit from.
We believe in the importance of honesty and transparency, and we genuinely care about the jobs we do and the children we work with. It is because of that guiding principle of ours that we want to give schools and parents/carers alike, a thorough understanding of the industry we work in, how we at Fiesta Sports Coaching operate, and how our competitors work too.
With that in mind, we’ll move onto our first competitor: Premier Sport/Education.
Who are Premier Education?
Premier Education was founded in 1999, and on average they work with 240,000 children a year when they deliver sports, arts, and well-being programmes at the venues they operate in. Premier Education has a nationwide network of coaches that can deliver their programmes to schools, and work closely with parents on a huge scale.
What does Premier Education offer?
Much like Fiesta Sports Coaching, Premier Education run holiday camps at schools. Within a 30 mile radius of Rothwell (where our base of operations is to be found), there are no fewer than four holiday camps. They can be found at:
- Arena Sports- Kettering
- Priors Hall- A Learning Academy
- Malcolm Arnold Academy
- The Pemberton Centre
But holiday camps are not the only service that Premier Education offer. They also offer services and products such as:
- Curricular activities in schools (this could include services such as PE lesson cover, break and lunch cover).
- Extracurricular activities- afterschool clubs, such as football, badminton and so on.
- Stay Active; this is a free resource of ideas and activities for home learning during the holidays. Follow the link here to discover more: Stay Active – Free resources – Sign-up now – Premier Education (premier-education.com)
- Wraparound care at certain school provisions.
- A career and training in sports coaching.
What are Premier Education costs?
Another important aspect of childcare is of course, the cost. With the cost of living crisis and the rising prices of childcare, it is important to know if a service is good value for money. Premier Education’s prices (rates may differ after the time of this blog being posted) are as follows:
Breakfast Wraparound Care from £5.50 per day 7.30 – 8.45am (Rates vary depending on the time of child drop-off).
After school Wrap around from £6.00 per day 3.15-4.45/5.30 (Rates vary depending on the time of collection).
Afterschool Activity: one example is Gymnastics, which starts at £28.50 for 6 sessions 3.15-4.30 (In this instance you make a block booking for a half term, which is just a one off payment).

We hope this little exploration into Premier Education’s services is beneficial to you, our services and prices do vary from those of Premier Education, but it is up to you which provider you prefer to work with, we simply want to equip you with the information to make an informed decision.
(All information was correct at the time of this blog being written. Currently due to inflation and the cost of living, rates may be changing regularly; as such it is recommended that you check for changes to prices before going forwards with any bookings.)
